The amount of the boat deposit is determined by the owner depending on the type of boat. The deposit is used to pay for damage to the boat, the insurance excess or any damage caused to the owner. The deposit can be managed directly by the owner.

Similar to a car rental, when chartering a boat you'll be asked to pay a security deposit (in many cases, it's possible to block the deposit on your credit card).
